Feb photo challenge 8: Sun

Not that we've had much sun with all the snow- but here is the only sun of the week, shining through a , and the view from the window.

Feb Photo Challenge 7: Buttons

This is a heart ( with a button ) I made to say thanks to J's Mum for looking after me, taking me to hospital, buying
me clothes & then feeding me for an extra week until I am well enough to go home to Wales tomorrow.

Feb Photo Challenge 6: dinner

This was my yummy lunch. Did I mention how grateful I am to be able to eat again?!

Photo Challenge 5: 10am

Confession time, I was asleep at 10am. James woke me up at 10:45am.

The clock in the photograph is J's giant LED wall clock that he designed and made himself.

I've thrown in a photograph of the get-well daffodils J's Mum gave me this morning, which was the first thing I saw at breakfast :) & in honour of Wales winning the rugby!

Feb Photo Challenge 4: A stranger

This stumped me. I am still recovering & not out & about. We did brave Tesco as I needed clothes & toiletries.
(I only came to stay a weekend, I will be here two weeks & thanks to my skin condition need to change my top every day....)
I was bewildered & ratty & not upto spy-snapping strangers. I did however buy a pair of Bright Pink Jeans. Awesomeness. My friends will collapse in shock at me not wearing black & purple, and the kids will mistake me for a walking tutti frutti.
So the nearest photograph I have is the strange cat. Sleeping, instead of chasing my feet or hair. Did I mention he loves having me stay all day?

Feb Photo Challenge 3: hands

I was discharged from hospital on 2nd Feb, and spent my time awake yesterday knitting.
(It's Big Bad Baby Blanket #3 incase you're wondering. I am a masochist, yes.)

Here are my knitting- hands:

Feb Challenge 2: words

My Mum bought me a kindle for my birthday which thankfully I travelled with before I ended up in A&E.
Kindle with Jane Eyre, Little Women , Walt Whitman and the Bible on it saved the day, especially as I couldn't hear the TV or get subtitles on it!

Little known fact: kindles are also easily disinfected when you're highly contagious!
